Gift of Rice Bonus of 50 Crore to Farmers on Good Governance Day by Brijmohan

December 25, Raipur - The work has begun in Chhattisgarh based on Modi's guarantee. Today, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, on Good Governance Day, the distribution of a two-year rice bonus to the state's farmers was conducted.

Under the presence of Mr. Brijmohan Agarwal, a special program was organized at BMB Vidyalaya in Tilda Nevara. In this program, approximately 50 crore rupees were transferred to the accounts of around 32,584 farmers associated with the 31 committees of Tilda Nevara block. Among these, about 25 crore rupees were deposited in the accounts of 15,657 farmers across 11 committees of Tilda branch.

Mr. Brijmohan Agarwal also handed certificates to the beneficiary farmers. This bonus amount has been provided for the years 2014'5 and 2015'6, combined as a lump sum. Around 3,716 crore rupees were transferred to the accounts of approximately 13.28 lakh farmers across Chhattisgarh.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Mr. Brijmohan Agarwal said that today is a special day for farmer brothers and sisters. Today is not only Christmas but also a significant day as it is Atal Ji's birthday.

He mentioned that on this day, a two-year rice bonus amount is being transferred to the accounts of farmers. This is Modi's guarantee; what Modi Ji promises, he fulfills. It has only been 21 days since the government was formed and just 11 days since the Chief Minister took the oath, yet approximately 3,716 crore rupees in bonuses are being given to around 12 lakh farmers in the state.

He also remarked that the Congress government, five years ago, came into power promising bonuses, but failed to fulfill that promise. The common man craved for roads, electricity, water, healthcare, proper housing, and drinking water. The Congress government only indulged in corruption and maligned Chhattisgarh's reputation across the country.

He praised the honesty of Atal Ji, respected and admired not only by the common people but also by leaders and workers of all other parties, including the Congress. It was Atal Ji who initiated the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Rozgar Guarantee Scheme, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, and other such initiatives. He was also responsible for introducing the mobile phone revolution in the country.

Even when the entire world imposed sanctions on India after the nuclear tests in Pokhran, Atal Ji sent a strong message that India would not compromise its security, integrity, and self-respect.

Even the opposition acknowledged Atal Ji's patriotism. In 1994, Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao chose Opposition leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee to represent India at the World Summit in Geneva because he knew that Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a true patriot, someone who wouldn't speak or hear anything against the nation.

Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah, JP Nadda, and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai chose Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birthday to fulfill Modi's guarantee. Soon, another guarantee of Modi will be fulfilled - 18 lakh poor people in the state will be given permanent houses.

In 1980, at the establishment of BJP in Mumbai, Atal Bihari Vajpayee said, "Darkness will fade, the sun will rise, the lotus will bloom." Today, the lotus has bloomed across the entire nation. Now, it has bloomed in Chhattisgarh as well. Under Modi's rule, the country is swiftly progressing on the path of development. Soon, the river of development will flow in Chhattisgarh too.

Mr. Brijmohan Agarwal reiterated the commitment of following Modi's ideology of "I will neither indulge in corruption nor allow others to do so" and urged all officials and employees to work honestly.

The program was attended by Anil Agarwal, Ram Panjwani, Sona Varma, Bhagwati Sahu, Ishwar Sahu, Anil Soni, Vikas Sukhwani, Rajeev Sharma, and a large number of party workers and administrative officials.
